I’m Ed Targett, the prospective Parliamentary candidate for the Green Party in North Thanet.
I’m a former journalist now working as a content writer and running my own business. I have three children, two dogs and I live in Margate.
When not working or being dad, I enjoy reading, boxing (I’ve raised money for a number of charities fighting on local boxing shows), and investigative journalism.
I’m excited by new technologies ranging from tidal power to electric vehicles and the potential for a greater focus on sustainability to boost the economy.
I’m dedicated to protecting wildlife and committed to supporting local services – I’m particularly concerned by cuts to schools in North Thanet and the threat to east Kent’s healthcare as the result of a looming £486 million deficit.
You can find out in more depth why I’m standing for parliament here.
I’d love to hear from you. Drop me a line or give me a call!
